Aug 15 1896 Dear Brother and Sister i thought I would write you a few lines to let you know that we are all well at present and hope these few lines will find you the same Robbie has been sick most of the summer he is cutting teeth he is not near as heavy this summer as he was last i have not been up home since the 1 of June Ed stays up there most of the time they come down here quite often I am afraid Ed will make a very poor use of his [mony?] he has drawed half of his allready and i know that he has spent quite a lot of it and so foolish two Mother had to hire the money of us for him two and he did not need it in the least as i can see
