of Luck. but we are darn Lucky not to be in the trenches with the rats and ect. I am going to try to tell you my little expierences in the trenches so I dont believe I ever took time tell you much before. The 351 had been holding the sector and the three fifty second was the last regiment of the division to go in. we were at Camp Norman and had been expecting orders to move up for several days. one afternoon it came and the order to roll packs was sure a welcome order. we got all ready and moved out as soon as it got dark and it was the darkest night I ever saw. being a laison man I was one of the connecting files between the first and second platoons and it was my duty to see that the
