<in top margin> well Sidney you must not sit up so late at night for if you get me for a wife i shall want you to go to bed early if it is cold weather i shall make you go to bed to warm the bed for me aint that the way Married folks do go to bed early and get up late young folks anyhow they do the first year they are married what do you think about it have you the same opinion of married folks as i have or what do you think of such talk as that does it make you blush or does it make you make believe in having a little fun please write soon his wife do you think of coming out here to your folks this winter or are you going to stay where you are you need not be afraid that i would not like to live out there for i have [illegible] had a notion these last two years of going west if my ankle had not bothered me i would have been out in dakota this fall but i guess i can live out there if you can it looks like rain today but i have to go to town we have not had any frost yet Corn is ripe here now i guess i will have to bid you good forenoon for i cant think of any more to write so i remain yours M E Bradley May our love be not like the rose to wither But like the Evergreen to last forever oh may you be happy Oh may you be blest In a neat little hut with the wife you love best Remember me you will i trust as long as you can bite a crust Remember me and dont forget you have a friend on Buck Creek yet
