Fairbank Iowa Feb 22d /84 Mr Sidney Jolley I received your letters both of them but i did not like to answer them i dont hardly know what to say but i cannot be your wife nor can i be anybodys wife i would only be a disgrace to you for i dont know how to do housework nor make my own clothes by the time you have been clear to Nebraska you will find a better wife than i can make you i shall never get married until i know how to work it would be a disgrace to any man to have a wife that did not know how to do housework i cant see what you could see about me to think of any such a thing for you will
