I never felt so sorry for any thing in my life, as I did when I gave up the school not for my self only, but the disappointment of Mr Richards. I hope he have got a good teacher with out any trouble, I suppose your all thought it mean of me but it was not my fault. I cannot blame you for thinking so, I am not agoing to get married yet [awhile?], I am teaching schooll in a place called Coytown it is [2?] miles east of [Hazleton?], I like the place very well, but not as well as over there. I get very lonesome here, I wish I were near you, your bet I would have some fun but never mind tell your Pa to be [illegible] next term and here me, I am going to go over to see your all in the spring after school is out. I suppose it is no use to
