Aug 17 or 18 [1886?] writing for I am in a hurry. good bye. write soon. from Emma write soon son Your friends the Smiths were down to church Sunday and I sat on the side of our class and Mrs [E?]. sat ahead of Wills. and kept her eye on him all the time [illegible] from W. Dear Bobbie I will answer your letter I got it the first of the week. I am glad you got through all right was Sid there to meet you. I was over to Oconnors yesterday and me and Maria planned to go to town today (today is Saturday) and I was to go over and we would walk to town but when I got home they told me I had to drive hay fork and [flore-- florence?] wont drive for me so I will have to stay at home. I think they might let me go. I wish you was here I would make you drive and I would go to town I was there thursay morning and yesterday morning and I wanted to go today awful bad but I guess I cant. I have
