July 4th 1886 Dear sister We recieved your welcome letter and was very glad to hear from you now dont think because we did not answer it sooner we were not glad to hear from you both I intended to write before but have been very busy we are all well and kicking how are you getting along were did you spend your forth all the celebrations were on the third around here Wright and I went to Summer we had a splendid time I am so tired today I cant half write Pa and Willie and Emma went to Fairbank Mamma staid at home but she had company Peter and <written sideways in top margin? be sure and tell me what it costs for one to come out there F Send me same Moss Rose seed next fall if you have any to spare F.V.B. write soon
