To [illegible] Phlegm Take clarified [posset?] drink and put thereto sweet Butter, the yolk of an Egg, and a little small ginger, Hysop, [red?] mints and sugar let it seethe altogether, and drink thereof, first and last, as warm as you can suffer it. -Marten 4 Pennyworth Stone Ammonia to 12t of water either warm or cold, it is strongest with cold, it will be too strong to use without diluting, a little put in water good for black stuffs or ribbons. Sick Heart Ache 1 Oz Camomile, 1 Oz of the best Salts, 1 Teaspoonful of Nitre, 1 Dozn Cloves, Boiled in 12t of water until [illegible] to three half pints. Take a wine glass of it every morning fasting
