Mrs. Woodroff's Cake, baked in little pans. Half a pound of flower; half a pound of lump-sugar beat fine; a quarter of a pound of butter. Beat the butter up with your hand; then strew in the flower, & sugar, by little & little. Then beat up seven eggs, leaving out half of the whites. Put in corinths, or carraways, if liked. ******************************************* {Linefus} for a cough.
