(Mrs E [illegible]) For a Sore Throat Four spoonfuls of the juice of sage. 4 spoonfuls of the juice of primrose. [Illegible] when clarified boiled in a pint of white wine with 8 [illegible] cut up and a small handful of red rosebuds when Boild put three spoonfuls of clarified. (Mrs E [illegible]) To Make Common Jelly Take 2 large lemmons and squeeze them into a half a pint of fair water cut and put some of the peel into it and sweeten it to your taste with the best double refined sugar, beat the whites of two eggs to a froth and pour it into the liquor and add [illegible] fire.
