39) Bezoard Water. Take of Celandine with the Roots three handfulls & halfe, rue, a handful [illegible], 2 handfull dittany of Creet Cardus benedictus of each one handfull and a halfe Zedoary and Angelica Roots, of each 3 drams and a halfe, Cittrons & Lemmons pills of each 2 dragms and a halfe, Cloves, gilly flowers and Roses of each 2 dragms, Cenament, Cloves of each five drams Y a halfe, venise treacle 3 ounces methridate one ounce and a half, wood of Aloes or Scruples, Conserves of cloves Gelly flowers 2 ounce(s) Cardus seeds one ounce, powder of Electuary - Lierantis five Scruples, filings of unycorns horns or harts horns a dragm & a halfe. Let these Ingrediens after they are Cut & bruised, be infused in the Spirit of wine and maligo wine of each three pound, then distill it in glass distill in [illegible] maria according to art. Cenament Water. Take of Cenament bruised four ounces, Spirit of wine 2 pints Infuse them together 4 dayes in a glass Close Stoped with kork & bladder Chaking the glass 2 a day. dissolve halfe a pound of white Sugar Candy in a quart of Rose water then mix both thes(e) Liquors together 4 grains of musk & half Scruple of Amber greese tyed up in a fine rag & hung
