Take a pinte of Sallade oyle & half a pound of red led, boyle it upon a Soft fire till they be black, then put in the quantitee of a Wallnutt, of bees wax & a Spoonfull of Any seeds beaten & finely Scared, if you will have it for a Sear Cloth for a cold disease put in the marrow of 3 or 4 deer shanks, & 3 or 4 Spoonfulls of Strong water but take it from the fire first by droping it upon a trancher. you may know when it is boyled enough To cure the Scurvey Take of wormood read water cresses, & brook lime of each of these a handfull, wash &
