(42) the King of Ffrance Balsom take [read?] sage & rue of each one pound young bay leave & wormwood of each half a pound. wash them not but [illegible] them in a fair morter then take 3 pound of Sheepe Suett & mence it small & Stampe it with these [leave?] till it be all of one colear then add to it a pottle of the best oyle of olive & work that well together an earthen pot well stopped for 8 days then boyle all this togather in to it fore ounces of oyll Spices let this boyle
