Also the tale of the old Colonel who, after a new member had timerously said "Fine day, isn't it?", sought out the club secretary and said "Have to resign, Club's becoming a damned Tower of Babel". Some people whom we met here in Felpham announced that they had an 18 year old American school girl with them for the Christmas holidays. She was at a School in Ryde,
