Rice Cheese Cakes. Mrs. Russell Boil 4 oz rice, - until tender - drain and add 4 eggs - 1/2 Lb Butter - 1/2 pt. cream- 6 oz sugar a glass Brandy - nutmeg - put them into a crust - bake moderately. Mock Oysters "me." 1 cup milk, 6 ears Corn, 1 egg, 1 tea spoon pepper - little salt, - flour enough to make a thin batter. Soda Bread. "me" 1 qt. flour, sifted - 1 teaspoon soda 1 of C tartar, - butter the size of an egg, salt, mix with Milk & water until it can be rolled mix but little. Grated Corn me. 12 ears Corn grated, add a little salt butter size of an egg, 2 tablespoons Cream and bake half an hour. - Eat when done
