German Puff Mary Marsh 10 spoonsful flour, 4 eggs, 3 cups milk a piece butter size hen's egg - please remember a little salt. Dutch Pudding. Clara Gibbs Put a bakers loaf in 1 quart cold new milk in the evening & let it stand all night If the milk is all soaked up by morning add more. Tie up the loaf in a cloth and boil 1 hour with wine sauce. Ginger Pudding. Detto 2 cups of sugar - 1/2 of butter - 1 of milk - 4 eggs - 1 tablespoon ginger - 1 teaspoon soda - 2 of C. tartar - flour to make as thick at sponge cake - eat with wine sauce Sponge Cake Pudding. E.C.R. put pieces of dry sponge cake in a dish cover with custard & bake 1/2 hour.
