Pies. Lemon Pie. Mrs. Glover's. 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk, 6 eggs - rind of 2 & juice of 1 lemons, melted butter egg size. another. Mrs R. Yolks of 3 eggs well beaten, 1/2 cup butter 1 of sugar, peel & juice of a lemon, arrow root or gelatine, a cup half full of milk, when baked cake the whites of 3 eggs - 4 tablespoons sugar and a little lemon - spread over the pie and bake a few moments to harden. another. George's. 1 lemon grate the rind, chop the pulp & squeeze the juice, 1 cup white sugar, 1/2 of butter, 1/2 of milk, 1 teaspoon corn starch the yolks of 3 eggs. - Bake as a custard and the following puff - Beat the whites of 3 eggs to a froth, add 4 tablespoons sugar pour on the pie and brown.
