Mary Kempton 1 1/2 Lbs flour - 1 1/2 of sugar - 1 1/2 of butter 1 pint wine - 3 Lbs fruit - 6 eggs - spice to taste. -another- Mrs. Chase. 4 cups flour - 3 of sugar - 1 of butter - 1 of milk - 3 eggs - 1 tablespoon dissolved saleratus 2 Lbs citron - 3 of currants, raisins, spices - & 1/2 tumbler brandy. -another- Jane's Plum Cake 3 1/2 cups rise dough - 3 of sugar - 1/2 of butter - 3 eggs - 1 1/2 Lbs raisins - spice to taste flour also. salt. -another- Mrs. Watkins 1 Lb sugar - 1/2 of butter - 1 of flour 1 of raisins - 1/2 of currants - 1/2 of citron - spice 5 eggs - 1/2 cup milk - 1 wineglass each of wine & brandy.
