-Cake- Cream (cakes) continued Mrs Barkers 1/2 Lb butter - 3/4 of flour - 1 pt water - 5 eggs - 1 teaspoon saleratus - mixture. 1 qt milk 2 cups sugar - 1 of flour - 4 eggs. -another- Mrs Cases 1 1/2 cups Boiling water, 3/4 of butter, 2 of Flour, - stir in the water while boiling when cold add 5 well beaten Eggs - a little saleratus and mix to a paste. Mixture 1 1/2 cup Milk - 1/2 of Flour- 3/4 of Sugar - 2 eggs - mix the eggs, flour and sugar together and stir in the milk while boiling, flavor with lemon.
