Rice Puddings 2 oz rice 1 pint milk 1 tablespoonful brown sugar 1/2 oz suet. grain of nutmeg Wash the rice put it into the pudding dish with the sugar suet & nutmeg and bake in a slow oven two hours. Irish Stew 1 lb neck of mutton. 2 lb potatoes. 3 onions. Pepper & salt. Cut the mutton into slices put a layer in the pan then onions and potatoes pepper & salt & so on. Finish at the top with a good layer of potatoes
