Put the rice in a shape & turn out Cornish Pasties 1/2 lb stewing steak & 1/2 lb potatoes cut in small pieces paste 1 lb flour 6 oz dripping teaspoonful baking powder & salt make them with cold water into a stiff paste Work it a little & roll it out Cut into pieces the size of a small plate. Put serve meat & potatoes on rack round. Wet the edges & press them together [?] marking them a little Bake on a greased tin in a very hot oven three quarters of an hour
