Flaky Crust 1 lb flour 1/2 lb butter or dripping. Put the flour in a basin with 1 teaspoon ful baking powder & salt & make it into a paste with cold water Roll it into a long strip Divide the butter into three parts. Put one part on the paste in daubs with the knife. Cut the paste in three lay the pieces on the top of each other double them & roll out. Put the other two parts of butter on in the same way & finish. By rolling out once or twice.
