[Hydropathic?] Pudding Stew some juicy fruit with sugar. Put a small round of bread in the bottom of an ordinary pudding bowl & fingers all round with about an inch between Put the fruit in gently the solid part first not to displace the fingers. Cover the top with stale bread cut into dice. Lay a small plate on & press down with a weight till the juice flows over. Serve with custard or cream [Bennoise?] Pudding 5 oz stale bread in very small pieces put in a bowl
