Apple Pot Firm apples 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 c butter cream lightly whipped 1 c. sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 3/4 c. flour 1/2 c. bl. walnuts 1/2 tsp cinnamon shredded Maple or li. br. sugar Pare core & slice apples then in cinnamon & sugar sprinkled layer in buttered baking dish till dish is nearly full. Dot each layer with butter Work into crumbly mass the flour sugar butter cinnamon - salt. Sprinkle over apples Bake until apples are tender and top crusty & brown. Serve hot or cold with lightly whipped cream with a pinch salt lemon juice maple sugar - sprinkle bl. walnuts over top -
