By: Alyssa Cheong Christmas Panettone N.Y Jimes 2 cakes yeast 1 cup lukewarm water 1/2 cup butter melted 2 tsp salt 1/2 cup sugar 2 eggs (beaten) 3 egg yolks (beaten) 51/2 cups sifted flour 1 cup citron sliced 1 cup seedless raisins Soften yeast in water. Mix butter,salt,sugar,eggs and yolks. Add yeast then flour. Stir till blended then knead till smooth and free flow stickiness. Knead in raisin and citron. Place in a greased bowl. Grease top and let rise in warm place till double the bulk(2 hours) Knead to original size. Put in round greased pans. Grease surface Let Rise 40 mins(double) Cut cross in top with sharp knife. Bake at 425 degrees- 8 minutes , 325 degrees for 1 hour
