Saving...
paper in the country. Had to do a big bunch of laundry tonight without benefit of Rinso or any other highly recomended laundry aid. Got it clean with a bar of lifebouy and plenty of elbow grease. Put it to soak this morning and finished it up after supper. I'm quite irked, find after carrying my dozen clothes pins several thousand miles and a couple of years I've only eleven left. Dont know where the other one went, perhaps I'll find it yet. I'm glad to hear my bank account is still growing, I know there will be lots of places for anything I can save now once I get out of this army. Wonder how much I've sent home and how much has come in from the farm. Sorry Dad you're having trouble with rheumatism, take it easy and I hope the warm weather bakes out the stiffness. Guess this is it for tonight -- Love Johnny
