on the road. their company is stationed at Bransborough 4 miles from Huntsville. They have had no fighting much yet but a skirmish with the bush Whackers and they killed about 40 and took about as many prisoners he says. There is lots of bush whackers where they fire on the train most evrday all they have to do now is to stand guard 2 hours evry night and go as guard on the train to Stevenson evry 2 days he says they have good times. He says they kill a hog or beef every day he says they make out their own requisition and kill them hes is enjoying good health now he said that he had had no letter from home in a good While... father What do you think of the last call for troops. I think it ought have been done
