Feb the 24 morning it is clear as a cristel this morning not a cloud to be seen. We are goeing to move our pickets out again to day after seven. We drilled on the guns in the forenoon. We have not been out to day the troops that went out this morning have not got back it is most supper time. We dont have any to much to eat here now, Tea and bread for breakfast and bread an tea for supper. We are haveing a nice day here to day. To morrow we have a inspection of this division by the inspector General yesterday we cleaned our guns up clean for inspection this is all for to day Feb 26. morning it is clear and warm and as nice weather as you
