curtains about the bed and at the windows. Before the fireplace I suppose many, many generations of travelers have warmed their bones. I rather like it. I have been quite content to remain here for the evening watching the play of the fire on the hearth and thinking of my beloved. How I do wish you were here. Do you love these quaint old places as I do, my dear? I hope so, for sometime I hope we shall enjoy them together and find them the more pleasant by seeing them through each other's eyes. These experiences I am having make me wonder much what we are going to do. They make me regret that the Lord didn't start me in life with a mountain of money so that I could plan for us to live wherever life should hold out most attraction. I suppose
