Loving so, you cannot but find necessary the frankness and seriousness of love that I express. I can't be light and effervescent in loving you now, sweetheart - my own feeling is too deep and sacred. I must love you with all the passion of my soul, holding none of it from you. How I wish I might hear from you! One of these days I suppose I shall arrive at a permanent station where I shall get my mail. In the meantime I continue to find ever new and gratefying your wonderful letters that I have brought with me. I never used to reread letters. Now I am learning
