trenches before long - and they're "rarin' to go." My work here has so far included only lectures and study - on a subject that is intensely interesting. We have already learned things about how a certain phase of the war is carried on that are simply startling in their revalation of how scientific methods are applied. Our instructors are fine men, and we fellows of the class are so few in number that we have very pleasant, intimate association with them. If it were not for the absorbing character of the work and this pleasant association I fear the outlook for our three weeks' stay would be rather dreary. At best we have nothing like the fine conditions under which we started work at G.H.Q. But we're here for war; we can't expect
