Seventeen February 18, 1918 Dear Old Girl, - Here is the doggerel I mentioned the other day. It was written by an anonymous officer and passed around until someone had some copies printed. It was from one of these that I made this copy. It isn't poetry - and it isn't exactly nice, but it does hit the billeting proposition in a way to make every officer who has been through it keenly in sympathy with the writer's sentiment.
