share every one of them with you, my Sweetheart, or bear them all so that you might be better able to do what is expected of you. God has been so good to give me your love that I know He will take care of you for me and being you back safely. And no more "Green Devils," ever. There is not the slightest need of them. My Sweetheart, believe that I love you passionately - deeply - without reserve - such a love that takes complete control over my very life. You believe me, don't you, Conger? I'd never have married you - never, never, never, if I hadn't known that you are my Prince. Dearest, if I could only be in your arms again, and press my lips to yours - then I could tell you of my love. Sometime - I kiss you goodnight. Be my brave good Soldier. Take care of yourself and live for Uncle Sam and Your Wife Regards to Lieut. "Zim" Feb. 17th 1918
