believe, but has lived much of the time in Italy. P- is also from New York. Mc- is from Indiana, has served thirteen months with the American Ambulance, and was before that a teacher in Turkey. E- is a Kike from Baltimore. L- is a big, hearty, good-natured common sort of chap from Texas.The peculiarities of the rest furnish entertainment for everyone of us. We have a good bit of fun bantering each other. The attack upon me is based upon my uncommunicativenes. Because I do a lot of listening and not much talking they accuse me of wishing to follow in the footsteps of Sherlock Holmes. Pretty good lot - with one exception. At first I thought the Yid might not be so bad as the type. But they're (the Yids) all alike - and they all get on my nerves. Enough prattle. I'm boring you. But you love me anyway, eh? Good-night, dearest, lovedest, sweetest girl o' mine. Your Hubby.
