Twenty. February 24, 1918. Dear Mrs. Reynolds,-- There -- howzat? Do it thrill you with the pride you vow you take in your new name? I hope so. I don't forget for a minute how good you were to want your hubby to know that you like his name. Your being Mrs. Reynolds means much -- so wonderfully much! What can you be doing tonight? It is Sunday night. Three months ago Sunday night would have found you entertaining one or several of the town boys, I reckon. But tonight you're not doing that.
