Twenty-one. February 26, 1918 My Very Dearest, - See, our series is old enough to vote. Twenty-first letter, and I've received one from you. I doubt not there are many more from you somewhere between Mizoury and here, but, oh! how long they take getting here. Nearly all the fellows have had mail from home, but oddly enough I am the only one who has heard from the girl. One other of the eight is married man and three are engaged. So the suspense izawful. I suppose you noted yesterday the passing of our second monthly wedding anniversary. Aren't we doing splendidly? All that time gone and we haven't had a fight. Of course it would be difficult for you to bounce teacups off my knob at this range, and I could not beat you. That's most unfortunate. I'm losing time in establishing the rule of the iron hand and
