couldn't appreciate my prayer like the members of our "gang" did. I've tried, since I've been in this hole, to do as nearly right as I could, and I've worked for V.A.C. with the best there is in me. I'll work for her the same up to the bitter end, but I'll hate the whole bunch of ratters most cordially and frankly, just the same. I know you are shocked, after the nice things they did when we were married, but I've told you only the nice ones. The rest don't matter, only they hurt at the moment.
