Fifty-one. April 11, 1918. My very own Wife,- As I postcripted earlier today, the helmet is here. I imagine it has been very long on the way. When did you say you sent it? Anyway. it's perfection itself. You must have spent infinite trouble on it to get it so perfect. I've just tried it on, and it fits as well as if it had growed on me. Here's how I look in it. Something's wrong with my nose but that is no fault of the helmet. I think it improves my appearance greatly - it leaves so little but the helmet to be seen. The weather ought to be decent enough from now on that I won't need it until next winter. Then there will probably be many times
