April. 22nd, I think. [1918?] Hello, Shorty! Here comes another letter! Do you object? It will be poorly written, just like the one I wrote yesterday, because I'm still flopped. Tomorrow I hope to be able to write from my desk again. I've had lots and lots of company this day. In fact, I still have, and I can hear someone coming to the door, but I intend to write anyway.
