together so that we can follow the war from our reports with a little better understanding. Our office will soon look like the work room of a chief of staff. Judge Lindsay arrived this afternoon to do the front as part of his tour in search of information to use in giving lectures for the government committee on public information. We had him to dinner at the press section mansion tonight. The jedge is a capital guest. He talks incessantly but constantly entertainingly. I wish I could repeat his tales of his difficulties in understanding English in London. They turned however, on his aping of the pronunciation, which cannot be done on paper. That's about all - except that I'm glad to be here writing to you and I should be happier if I could talk to you. 'Bye, sweetheart. Conger. Conger Reynolds 2nd Lt., A.G.D.
