[Therese?] came home and I showed them your pictures and "sieved" out the war news in your letters. They went home early and I got ready for bed and then waited for the news. Thursday Another busy day. The second atom bomb used, and the Russians are moving on the Jap border in China. So at home and abroad many things go on. Chas.
