127 Parkin 1/4 lb flour 1/2 lb med. oatmeal salt 1/2 teacup black treacle 1/2 " syrup 1/4 lb margarine 1/4 lb Demarara sugar 1/2 teasp. bicarb. of soda milk 1 egg 1 1/2 teasp. ginger 1/4 teasp allspice Mix first three indrediens with spice. Place margarine, sugar, treacle and syrup in saucepan, stir till hot. Add mixture, beaten egg, soda dissolved in milk to dry ingrediens. Pour into greased tin. Bake about 1 hour in moderate oven. Orange Mousseline. 2 oz butter 2 oz sugar 1 orange (rind + juice) Put yolks, butter, sugar, flour, juice + rind in pan stir till thick. Let get cold. Mix with whipped egg white and strain
