Mix and sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Work in the shortening to a consistency of coarse corn meal. Then add the milk all at once and stir vigorously until mixed. Turn on to a well-floured board and knead slightly. Then roll into a rectangle 1/4 inch thick. Spread with 1 c. of the salmon which has been flaked and mixed with 1 beaten egg. Roll up the dough like a jelly roll and arrange in a shallow baking pan. Beat the other egg, and use part of it to brush the top of the salmon roll.
