Seasonable Desserts. Plumberi Make rish custard, & flavor with vanilla, pour in a freezer & freeze until thick; heat & add to 1 gal of custard 1 lb almonds powder fine, 2 lbs of chopped citron & 1 lb each of candied peaches & cherries, freeze until hard. Pudding Glace. Thicken 1 pt of new milk with 2 Table spoonfuls of arro-root, boil 3 pts of rich milk, & add with 3 well-beaten eggs & 3 cups of sugar; flavor with vanilla & mix in 1 lb each 1 raisins. currants citron & chopped figs, turn in a freezer & freeze hard.
