Indian Pudding. No.1. 2 table spoons meal 2 ditto flour 3 eggs season to your taste 1 quart milk - bake an hour. Indian Pudding No.2. 1 quart of milk boil, 6 table spoons meal mix in a little cold milk - stir into the boiling milk - add a piece of butter size of an egg, When sufficiently cool add 3 eggs & season as you like before baking - or make a sauce bake an hour. Lemon pudding. Mrs. S. D. Eaton. 1 pint sugar 2 small spoonful butter 1 pint milk 8 eggs juice & rind of 2 lemons. Boiled Bread Pudding. Mrs. Jones. No.3. 1 quart milk 1 quart bread crumbs 3 eggs 1 teaspoon cloves, ditto allspice, ditto cinnamon 1 grated nutmeg, Boil 2 hours in a well buttered boiler 1/2 pint of molasses. (1 quart of breadcrumbs or 1 &1/2 lbs bread crumbs)
