128 Boiled corn starch custard. 2 tablespoons corn starch to 1 qt milk Mix the flour with small quantity of milk -beat yolks of 2 eggs with 4 small spoons of sugar & (I prefer to mix the corn starch with sugar & yolks) & when near boiling stir quickly & thoroughly into the milk - add a little butter & salt - remove from the fire when thickened - flavor & stir in the whites of the eggs - having them thoroughly beaten.
