aug 18, 1942 7.00 A.M. Slim: Well here goes a nother Line or two it isn't like I said I would do but anyway I didn't forget. Nothing much new to say but by the time the mail goes out this P.M. I might have plenty to say. (7.20) Got the barn shingled isnt quit finished yet expect to put the ridge Roll on some time this week (7.45) am also going to have Gutters will save the foundation & bottom part of the barn. One day last week I got a load of old shingles & backed up to the pile and went in to supper & after wards Dad unloaded them & did he Get covered with Lice there must of been (8.15 AM) over
