We had a pretty good break, Sept & Oct - dry and mild - got some good letks in - in the way of getting things in shape for winter reshaped quite a few miles of road. They were terrible, and still lots of them not too hot. Quite a lot of talk about past war-work and we are getting as much ready as we can - not much help to get for surveys and plans. (Frank, Gary, Pete & myself). Dane Kink is still in Oregon, Holub is on his way to the army and a couple of others (new ones) are slated to go soon. Best wishes Lloyd - and I hope the opportunity for a pull session comes real soon- Your Bill. Wm. H. Behrens 2616 C. Ave NE Cedar Rapids, Iowa
