Aug 21st 1864 Sabbath morning was cloudy but warm There was nothing occurred on our part of the picket line through the course of the night but about 9 AM there was 4 rebels came up within sight of our lines and there was two of them taken in in a few posts to our sight they pretended to be citizens the other two got away
