Sept 16th 1864 Friday morning was clear and pleasant but cool The company was called out in line to get the consent of the com to have their knapsacks brought on from Wash City. In the evening there was an order came for the reg't to be ready for Gen inspection at 1 PM tomorrow I wrote more to my family and put it with the one I wrote yesterday
